Mega Man Legends 3 may have been cancelled back in July, but Mega Man creator Keiji Inafune is still gunning for the 3DS.

The Japanese games legend is developing a new title named Kai-oh - which translates into English as Sea King - according to Andriasang.

The game is all about pirates and the high seas... although you play as a penguin. Naturally.

Inafune will be working on the game with his new studio Intercept. Publisher Marvelous is on board for this voyage, and Kai-oh is due to set sail for the 3DS in 2012.
