RuneScape Mobile's latest skill, Archaeology, announced at RuneFest 2019
Plus, raise your own dinosaurs on The Ranch Out of Time

RuneScape Mobile is set to delve headfirst into its never-before-seen past with its latest skill, Archaeology. The announcement of the classic MMORPG’s 28th skill arrived during RuneFest 2019 in Farnborough on Saturday.
To improve your Archaeology level, you’ll be required to visit and excavate a number of dig sites across the expansive land of Gielinor. Buried deep beneath the ground are priceless artefacts, powerful relics, and fierce weapons. And, as you continue to explore, you’ll gradually uncover new knowledge and demon pacts that have been lost to time.

Jagex also announced its plans to expand this summer’s The Land Out of Time content with what will be known as ‘The Ranch Out of Time’. This sounds really neat, basically allowing you to raise and care for Gielinorian dinosaurs. The Ranch will be available before the year is through, so we thankfully won’t have too long to wait to start out own doomed-from-the-start Jurassic Park.
On top of that, the level cap for the Farming and Herblore skills will be raised from 99 to 120, allowing you to concoct powerful potions using produce and primal extract harvested from your pet dinos.
Following the release of The Ranch Out of Time, we’ll see a new season of lore and questlines in 2020. Basically, there’s a ton of new content coming, and most of it involves dinosaurs. What else do you need to know?
