Prolific Japanese dev Skipmore serves up Rotten Tangerines for iPhone and Android for free

Prolific Japanese game developer Skipmore has released a new game for Android and iPhone that may help some people vent their frustration and anger.
Skipmore's Rotten Tangerines is an odd mash-up of finger splatting and RPG elements. You're presented with a box full of tangerines, and as some of them go mouldy, you need to poke them with your finger to mush them up and remove them from the box.
As time goes by, however, dragons, wizards and other nasty fantasy creatures will also appear in the box, and will turn tangerines around them bad until you poke them enough to kill them.
At a tangentWhat's even worse is that the mould will spread, meaning that surrounding tangerines will go green the longer you leave it. Fortunately, you can stroke your finger along tangerines to kill them, and build up combos and points quickly.
Rotten Tangerines is pretty simple but good fun - best of all, though, it's free to download. Don't be put off by the Japanese symbols above the name, either: the entire game is in English.
Grab Rotten Tangerines for free from either the App Store for iPhone [download], or Google Play for Android [download].
