Rock 'n' Roll spins onto the App Store

Mobile classic now in motion on the iPhone

Rock 'n' Roll spins onto the App Store

We were big fans of the classic spin-'em-up, Rock 'n' Roll on mobile and this was always going to be a game that felt perfectly at home on a motion sensing handset like the iPhone.

And here it is. Tag Games published its seminal spinner on the App Store earlier today, with more than 30 levels of bilious, maze wandering action and a bizarre storyline about something to do with capturing musical notes from an evil Sky Spirit to rescue your best friend. Don't worry, it's probably not supposed to make sense.

"We are delighted to bring our much-loved casual game Rock 'n' Roll to iPhone and iPod touch players," says managing director Paul Farley. "We think that Rock 'n' Roll's combination of unique motion controlled gameplay, cartoon visuals and tongue-in-cheek humour will be a great hit with players around the world!"

When our heads stop spinning, we'll be inclined to agree. Hit 'Track It!' now to make sure you no Rock 'n' Roll news spins past your head without taking you with it. Or click 'Buy It!' to, er, buy it.

Spanner Spencer
Yes. Spanner's his real name, and he's already heard that joke you just thought of. Although Spanner's not very good, he's quite fast, and that seems to be enough to keep him in a regular supply of free games and away from the depressing world of real work.
