Rocket League Sideswipe is now available for iOS and Android in Oceania as part of its Pre-Season rollout

Developer Psyonix has announced that Rocket League Sideswipe is now available for iOS and Android in Oceania. It will then rollout to other regions throughout November in a period the team are calling Pre-Season. Once the game is available worldwide, Season 1 will begin.

Throughout pre-season, players will have a chance to get acquainted with the game ahead of the full launch while unlocking numerous customisation items. Psyonix recommends logging in using an Epic Games Account to play in Online Matches and earn extra rewards across Rocket League and Sideswipe.

Each time players level up in Rocket League Sideswipe they will earn a Bonus Win in Rocket League. Additionally, when they win an Online Match in Rocket League, they will gain additional experience because of that Bonus Win. The developers say that the two games will crossover in other ways, with more details coming soon.

Rocket League Sideswipe will feature several electronic music tracks from the label Monstercat. They include:

If you're unfamiliar with Rocket League Sideswipe, it is a side-on approach to the popular vehicular soccer game designed with mobile in mind. Players will compete in 1v1 or 2v2 matches that only last a few minutes, making it ideal for playing on the go. You can check out some gameplay in the video above.
