While the focus of Revolution Software is on its soon-to-be-released iPhone and iPad Broken Sword: The Smoking Mirror Remastered, this doesn't mean the company doesn't have other irons in the fire.

Talking to founder Charles Cecil, he told us the company is working on three new games, although we shouldn't expect to be playing any of them until the summer of 2011.

Some new, something borrowed

Even more interesting is that while one of these continues the Broken Sword series - currently four releases strong - one isn't an adventure, despite that genre being synonymous with Revolution's output over the past two decades.

As for The Smoking Mirror Remastered, it has better graphics and audio than the original, there's a hint system, a new digital comic from Dave Gibbons, and Dropbox integration so you can back up your save games on the web, and sync your progress across multiple devices.

A universal app, we expect it to be out this week, priced at $6.99, €5.99 or £4.99.
