Resident Evil Survival Unit pre-registration sign-ups surpass one million ahead of its launch this year
A million willing tributes and rising

- 1M pre-registrations surpassed
- Expect milestone goodies at launch
- Social media campaign underway
Aniplex Inc. has announced that pre-registration sign-ups for Resident Evil Survival Unit have now gone over the one million mark, proving that Capcom's popular zombie franchise still hasn't lost its appeal. Co-developed with Joycity Corporation, it'll throw together an interesting mix of strategy and survival as you compete with other survivors all over the world.
The multiplayer aspect also means you get to encounter familiar faces from the franchise, including Leon S. Kennedy, Claire Redfield, and Jill Valentine. And, since you've been experimented on by everyone's favourite Umbrella Corp, you'll need to find a way to escape in one piece - all presented with mobile-optimised features.
It's set in a parallel universe, by the way, which is probably why fan-fave characters are all coming together in one place. Battles are a real-time affair as you build your base and try to survive, and if you're curious, you can catch the character intros on the official website to hype yourself up some more.

Right now, the launch window is still somewhat vague, with an expected App Store date that simply sets it to December 31st. Rest assured it'll be out within the year across Japan, Korea, North America, Europe, and Asia.
There's a lovely social media follow event that's currently underway if you want more goodies at launch, because needless to say, the pre-registration milestone rewards have definitely already been met.
In the meantime, if you're eager to join in on all the fun, you can do so by checking out Resident Evil Survival Unit on the App Store and on Google Play. It's free-to-play with in-app purchases.
