Rec Room teams up with Mattel for a Masters of the Universe collaboration

Today, Rec Room has announced yet another collaboration. This time the popular user-generated platform is bringing the Masters of the Universe its virtual world. It kicks off on Thursday, December 15th and will stick around until January 15th.

By heading to the Rec Center, you will find a photo booth and a Masters of the Universe-themed pop-up shop. Here you can cosplay as the likes of He-Man, Skeletor and Teela while testing your true strength by equipping the Power Sword.

The full avatar costumes for these characters will be available in the Rec Room store until March 31st, giving you plenty of time to decide if you want to pick them up. However, if you only want a certain part of the outfit, each costume comes in three parts which you can purchase individually.

Once you've snagged your new avatar threads, you might want to take advantage of the Masters of the Universe photo opp. You can snap a selfie with Teela, He-Man and Skeletor as Castle Greyskull sits in the background. On top of that, wearing certain outfit combos will result in the three characters providing words of encouragement or evil statements.
