Ragnarok X: Origin teams up with popular anime series Demon Slayer for the latest collab

Ragnarok X: Next Generation, the popular mobile MMORPG, has announced its next big collaborative effort, this time with the equally popular anime series Demon Slayers: Kimetsu No Yaiba. This event brings with it some brand new characters to roll for alongside some new costumes for existing characters, a brand new quest to tackle, and even a new class!

If you aren’t familiar, Kimetsu No Yaiba is one of the more recent bigger anime series that are popular worldwide. It features the story of Tanjiro - a boy who joins up with a clan of demon hunters as he attempts to avenge his family who were all slain by demons. With a movie that recently premiered in theaters and a series that topped the charts for about a year, it’s easy to see why Ragnarok would team up with this one.

As for that team-up, let’s go over the new characters first! Players will be able to team up with the heroes directly from the anime, including the main characters Tanjiro and Nezuko as well as the side cast like Inosuke and Zenitsu! All of these characters will team up with you, and you’ll also be able to collect a new 3D action card, which will allow an adventurer to summon one of those characters directly in your own battles.

Onto the quest! This new challenge will be a relatively simple quest that you can take part in, all themed after the anime. But more importantly, you’ll be able to collect new costumes as a reward, which are also all inspired by the cast of Demon Slayer.

And finally, those two new classes! Players will now be able to swap the Merchant Class to the Alchemist class, which can then turn into the Creator class. These classes all focus on consuming potions to buff themselves.

As for the other, we’ve got the Rogue class which can advance from the Assassin class and into the Stalker class. This is fairly explainable if you know what a rogue class does. They focus on heavy one-target damage and can blow up a singular enemy easily.

That about sums up this big event for Ragnarok X: Next Generation! If you’re a fan of the game or the Demon Slayer anime, you can give this new content a go for yourself by checking out either of the links below!
