Buzz! developer Relentless Software creating iPhone exclusive Quiz Climber
Chillingo publishing new original iOS trivia game
Relentless Software, the developer behind Sony's best-selling Buzz! trivia franchise, is working on an original quiz game for iPhone and iPod touch.
Entitled Quiz Climber, the game promises thousands of questions structured in a quiz tree that progressively grows harder the more you correctly answer in a row.
Similar to recent instalments of the PlayStation-exclusive Buzz! series, the emphasis in Quiz Climber is on social trivia with the ability to compete with friends via scores posted to the game's leaderboards.
It's unknown if real-time multiplayer will be offered or if the competitive element of the game is restricted to posting top scores to the game's Crystal leaderboards.
Quiz Climber will be available this spring for iPhone and iPod touch; no price has yet been announced.
