I'm not saying mobile developers are doubting my obvious rugged manliness, but I do seem to be receiving a lot of cuddly toys at the moment.

For the record, Chris James and Rob Hearn have newborns. I'm still keeping my options open...

Nevertheless, having been sent The Moron Test's turtle, and casting envious eyes over Mega Jump's prototype Redford, my most recently acquired small furry friends are The Puffles.

Gel and back combing

For those of you / us who aren't fans of Disney's Club Penguin virtual world for kids, Puffles are the penguin's pets, and have become a brand in their own right.

So, with 20 million of the little fellas adopted in 2011 so far, it's only right that they're getting their own game - Puffle Launch, which is due to be released for iOS on Thursday.

Real fans, however, will be snuggling up to the Puffle plushes - available from all good online retailers from £4 / $6.
