Pucca Puzzle Adventure, an upcoming match-3, is now open for pre-registrations
Takeone Company has just opened pre-registrations for their upcoming mobile puzzle game, Pucca Puzzle Adventure. The titular character is, and no rewards for guessing, Pucca, one of South Korea’s most beloved ones. For the last six years until 2021, Pucca was rated as the most popular character in Korea.
Pucca Puzzle Adventure’s story begins three years prior to the events of the game, with the cosmic villain Dong King raiding the Earth with his army. In an effort to gain control of peoples’ minds, Dong began distributing low-quality food to everyone - and soon enough, he had hordes of his own mindless minions.
Leading his own army and the ones he captured on Earth, Dong King went to Suga Island, which is Pucca’s home. His conquest was, however, unsuccessful, as Pucca, her friends, and the chefs of the Giant Dragon Express drove him away, leaving him as a shell of himself.
But Dong King somehow survived, and like Thanos, he got his hands on particle stones and elements, which once again gave him the powers of controlling minds and cloning others. Using this dark power, he returned to Earth and kidnapped all of Pucca’s friends. She must now embark on an adventure around the world to bring back her buddies and silence Dong King once and for all.
The gameplay will be of the match-3 type with RPG elements such as levelling up characters. There are over 100 stages to conquer. In the Adventure Mode, players will explore the main story while trying to foil the Dong King’s plans. The Challenge Mode features raids against various bosses, and the Breakthrough Mode is a ranking competition.
Currently, everyone is also receiving rewards for pre-registering such as 1,600 gems and 100 tokens that can be used to gain legendary characters.
