PUBG Mobile has partnered with Liverpool FC for a collaboration in November

PUBG Mobile has announced that it will host a collaborative event with Liverpool FC from November 12th to December 20th. During this time, players can earn in-game Liverpool branded gear by competing in various classic mode games. Although, I doubt any Manchester United or Everton fans will have any desire to get these items.

Liverpool is one of the most recognisable football teams in the world. Even if you're not into the sport, you have likely heard of them. In recent years, under the management of Jürgen Klopp, they have won several trophies, including the Champions League, Premier League and the FIFA Club World Cup.

Discussing the collaboration, Drew Crisp, Senior Vice President, Digital, Liverpool FC, said: “In an increasingly digital world, we pride ourselves on being able to innovate and engage with our fans on the vast array of digital platforms they favour.”

He added: “With the realm of online gaming growing and evolving amongst our fans, PUBG MOBILE is the perfect platform to connect with them in a different but very relevant context - intertwining the world of online gaming and football through the power of games and play. This is a great opportunity for supporters to embrace their love of the club and interact with LFC on one of their favourite platforms, bringing together the physical interactive nature of football into the digital interactive world of gaming.”

If you have played PUBG Mobile for an extended period of time, you will already know that the battle royale enjoys a variety of different collaborations. They have previously partnered with k-pop band Blackpink and car manufacturer McLaren. It seems nothing is off-limits.

PUBG Mobile is available now over on the App Store and Google Play. It is a free-to-play game with in-app purchases.
