Protectors: Shooter Legends, a brand new 4v4 arena shooter, launches onto mobile
The latest in the booming genre that is arena shooters has launched globally courtesy of developer Playkot LTD. Protectors: Shooter Legends takes the booming genre and transfers it to a third-person shooter perspective full of unique heroes who all utilize specific weapons and abilities to do battle in objective-based combat full of striking colours and awesome visuals.

Gameplay-wise, Protectors is a game that you’ll recognize pretty quickly. It’s got a bit of Overwatch in there with a dash of Paladins, using a 4v4 format to allow players to team up and take part in competitive action-packed combat that is sure to test your reflexes and map knowledge at all times. While I wouldn’t say Protectors is reinventing the wheel in any way, it is one of many options within the hero shooter genre, so it’s likely worth a look if you enjoy this type of game.
Otherwise, you know what you’re getting into here. You’ll pick a hero, either based on who you think is your favourite or who your team needs, and march into the arena to try to beat the enemy team. These abilities range from healing utility that can keep your teammates alive to hardcore damage abilities that can take out the peskier targets on the other side.
Naturally, this means that you’ll need a degree of teamwork and communication with your team to truly perform well, but there’s plenty of fun to be had with random companions too.
