Project CARS GO's March release date has been confirmed by GAMEVIL and Slightly Mad Studios

Project CARS GO will be heading for iOS and Android on March 23rd. Yeah, we did kind of know that already, as Olly reported earlier this week. But now it's officially official, which is always nice. GAMEVIL and Slightly Mad Studios has also announced that players who pre-register will get themselves 100 Diamonds (in-game currency) on launch.

GAMEVIL and Slightly Mad Studios are very keen to push that the game has licenses for various real-world vehicles and tracks in Project CARS GO, so those looking for authenticity may wish to keep an eye on this one.

This will include a mixture of brands that will see historic cars and futuristic concept models all playable in the game. There will also be various vehicle classes including GT3, Open-Wheel, Prototype, Road and more. Meanwhile, some of the real-world race tracks players will be able to speed round are:

  • Brands Hatch
  • Autodromo Nazionale Monza
  • WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca

Talking about Project CARS GO, Kyu Lee, President at GAMEVIL COM2US USA said: “Project CARS GO is a balanced mobile racing game which appeals to both die-hard racing fans and the casual mobile gaming audience.”

They added: “The streamlined One Touch gameplay combined with real-life racetracks, cars and physics offers a unique mobile racing experience. Alongside the racing experts at Slightly Mad Studios, we have entered the final stretch for Project CARS GO. We can’t wait to share the final product come March.”

Project CARS GO is available to pre-order now over on the App Store and Google Play ahead of its release on March 23rd. It will be a free-to-play game with in-app purchases and adverts.
