Nic Watt, CEO of Pop developer Nnooo, doesn't feel that the PSPgo offers anything new to gaming. Watt's company has had success developing for iPhone, WiiWare and soon DsiWare, but remains unconvinced about the Sony platform.

Speaking with our own Damien McFerran, Watt said “for us the PSPGo doesn't really offer much in the way of 'new ways to play'.”

In terms of pin-pointing the problem with the PSPgo, Watt feels that the handheld is hamstrung by its lack of touch or motion control inputs. “My feeling of the PSPgo is that ultimately the interface is limiting the types of games which can be done with it” he said.

Despite his reservations, however, Watt told us that the folks at Nnooo “do have a couple of concepts which would work as well on PSP (and could connect to your PS3), as they would on DSi (and connect to Wii).”
