How to get Shop Tickets in Pokemon TCG Pocket
One of the currencies that you can find in Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket, often called Pokemon TCG Pocket, is Shop Tickets. Shop Tickets are used within the game's shop to purchase hourglasses, covers for your binder, and other cards. Spending your Shop Tickets on these item cards and support cards is the most strategic use of them, but if you are short on patience, you can spend them on hourglasses to open more packs or to grab a card from random other players. You can never have enough Shop Tickets, so let's break down every way to collect them.
Claim your Complimentary Item Set
Every day, at the top of the shop, you can claim a Daily Gift. This resets at midnight each day and always contains one Shop Ticket. Though it's not much, it's free each day so do not forget to grab it.
Missions
There are a large number of missions within Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket, which give a variety of different rewards. Some of them give out Shop Tickets. Dex MissionsIf you navigate to your missions and scroll over to Dex, you can gain Shop Tickets for completing the missions in this section. They all revolve around registering a specific number of cards into your Dex.
Premium Missions
If you subscribe to a Premium Pass, you can claim premium missions. These missions are the same type of missions you will see in your Daily Missions, but instead of giving out hourglasses (as they give out only hourglasses in the daily missions), many of these missions have the prize of Shop Tickets.
Battle Tasks
Much like missions, there is a secondary list of Battle Tasks. These are broken down under the Battle Menu, in the Solo Category. These Battle Tasks give a few different rewards for each one completed, often giving out Shop Tickets. Sometimes they require you to do a specific thing in a battle, like play X number of starter Pokemon or beat an opponent using a specific deck.
When you start off in Battle Tasks, you will find you gain more Shop Tickets as you increase the difficulty, with 3 Shop Tickets being rewarded for Beginner Battle Tasks, 4 Shop Tickets being rewarded for Intermediate Battle Tasks, and 5 Shop Tickets being awarded for Advance and Expert Battle Tasks.
While in the Battle Menu, you can also go to the Guide, which is a very long tutorial for the Battle aspect of the game. This guide does award Shop Tickets as you complete each chapter.
Other Players
Other players can give you a Shop Ticket if they submit a Thanks to you. This can be done either after another player uses your card pack for their Wonder Pick or after a Battle. This method does rely on another player's help, but can give you one Shop Ticket per thanks, so it can boost it.
You can gain Shop Tickets by liking posts that are under the Community Showcase within the Social Hub as well, if you want to give some out.
Themed Collections
As you open card packs, you will gain new cards added to your Dex. If you complete a Themed Collection, you will gain Shop Tickets. This is a bit hard to achieve, as a lot of the cards you get are down to luck, but you can grab some Shop Tickets through your collections as well.
