Pokémon Go will see Flabebe join as the September 2025 Community Day Pokémon

Flabebe is getting its moment in the spotlight as Pokémon Go rolls into its September 2025 Community Day. Following Rookidee’s appearance at the end of August as the Community Day Pokémon, this floral Fairy-type takes over on September 14th, from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm local time.
During the Community Day event in Pokémon Go, you’ll find Flabebe more frequently in the wild, but the flower colour depends on where you are. Red shows up in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. Blue appears in the Asia-Pacific region, and yellow is found across the Americas. If you're lucky, you might also run into white and orange flower forms, which are available globally.

Of course, all of them have a chance to be shiny, so you don’t want to miss out on that either. And if you evolve Floette during the event or up to a week after, you’ll get a Florges that knows the Charged Attack Chilling Water. It lowers your opponent’s Attack in trainer battles and does 65 power in raids and gyms.
In addition, you can unlock a Special Research story for $1.99, which gives you guaranteed encounters with the rarer Flabébé flower forms, white and orange, as well as seasonal backgrounds, Rare Candy XL, and a Premium Battle Pass. There’s also a free Timed Research that activates when you log in during the event, giving you another shot at rare forms with higher shiny odds.
This time’s bonuses include one-fourth hatch distance, double catch candy, increased Candy XL chances for trainers over level 31, and longer-lasting Incense and Lures. You’ll also get one extra Special Trade, 50% less Stardust cost, and easier evolution for Floette, with only seven buddy hearts required instead of 20.
Finally, a Community Day Web Store box will also be available on the Pokémon Go Web Store beginning September 8th. For $1.99, you’ll receive a bunch of items and another way to access the Special Research.
