Pokémon Go's official road trip wraps up its UK leg of the journey
Missed out? Don't worry

- Pokemon Go's official tour has sadly finished its UK leg
- But don't fret, it's still going, and we were lucky enough to be there!
- Niantic's new trend of community facing events already has tongues wagging
It's a sad day for Pokémon Go fans. Why? Because the official road trip has concluded the UK leg of the journey! Yes, sadly, if you missed out, that big red and grey truck has now moved on to the rest of the tour. But don't fret, because we can still regale you with all the details!
Fortunately for you, our own Jupiter Hadley (not to mention editor Dann Sullivan) got the chance to visit before the tour wrapped, and you can read about their experience in an entire feature all about it. The tour included not just a huge immersive experience in a specially designed bus, but also saw the rollout of the new Campfire app for Pokémon Go.
The tour stops offered not just real-life rewards, but also plenty of in-game goodies too. Even if you were further afield out in the city itself, you'd be lavished with great free gifts in Pokémon Go like Lures, Stops and Poké Balls to tap until they burst!

Go-ing somewhere?
Yes, it's a bit of a sad loss if you've not managed to make it. But again, don't fret. Because this seems to be just the start of an ongoing trend for more real-life community activities that Niantic are fostering not just in Pokémon Go, but also in Pikmin Bloom and beyond. You need only look to Paris later this year to find the first-ever Pokémon stamp rally taking place outside of Japan. An event where Pokémon Go looks set to have a significant presence, with plenty of in-game events for attending fans!
Phew, that's certainly a lot to look forward to! I don't blame you if you're looking for a way to unwind ahead of these top events. Why not dig into our list of the top five new mobile games to try this week for some options?
