Pokemon Go is introducing Kleavor in upcoming Raid Day event

Pokémon Go fans are in for a ride because Niantic has a tonne of content coming over the course of the next few months. We already heard about the in-person Pokémon Go Fest 2023 in London, and now it’s time to say hello to another debutant Pokémon joining us soon. Kleavor the Axe Pokémon is heading to the AR game during a special Raid Day event.

Straight from the frames of Pokémon Legends: Arceus on Nintendo Switch, Kleavour is coming to Pokémon GO during its Raid Day event on May 6th. Between 11:00 am and 2:00 pm, the Pokémon will appear in three-star raids with a few lucky trainers finding its Shiny variant as well. Currently, this is the only way to obtain Kleavor as Scyther cannot evolve into it in-game.

Completing raids can be tricky sometimes, especially when going solo. So, for the duration of the event and up to two hours after, the player can earn up to five daily Raid Passes for spinning Gym Photo Discs. In addition, the limit of Remote Raid Passes will be raised to 10 for the entire day.

Besides catching Kleavour in Raids, a few other Legendary Pokémon will also be available throughout May. Five-star raids will be populated by Tapu Bulu, Genesect (Shock Drive), Tapu Fini and Regigas, while the Mega counterparts will feature Mega Slowbro, Scizor, Pinsir, and Altaria. All of them will be available weekly until June 1st.

Furthermore, trainers should also be on the lookout for upcoming events. An Instinctive Hero begins tomorrow, where players must help Spark and Elekid, followed by A Valorous Hero on May 11th, which will revolve around the Red Team Leader. We then move into a rerun of the Regidrago Elite Raids because of the inconveniences last time, and finally a Community Day we should hear about soon.
