Pokemon Go is hosting Incense Day: Skorupi event later this month

While October is known for the two Halloween events that take place in Pokémon Go, Niantic has more plans for everyone. Built on the same theme is another event that brings a load of creepy crawlies to the AR Game. Next week, trainers can participate in Incense Day: Skorupi, which welcomes the Scorpion Pokémon to the fray.

The Incense Day: Skorupi event in Pokémon Go will take place on October 21st, from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm local time. Think of it as a Community Day event but it requires the use of a specific item. Skorupi will attracted to Incense at a great rate and lucky trainers may even encounter a shiny one lurking about. To make things easier, all Daily Adventure Incense activated during the event will last twice as long.

It's not just the Scorpion Pokémon that will frequent the wilds, though. Players will find a plethora of Bug-type and Poison-type Pokémon waiting to be caught. Their appearances will be time-bound and the type of Pokémon being found will keep switching every hour.

Bug-type Pokémon like Caterpie, Weedle, Pinsir, Yanma, Wurmple, Wimpod, Scyther, and Dewpider will be available from 11:00 to 12:00, 1:00 to 2:00, and 3:00 to 4:00 pm local time. On the other hand, poison-type Pokémon such as Ekans, Zubat, Gulpin, Stunky, Croagunk, Skrelp, Alolan Grimer, and Trubbish will roam around in the wilds between 12:00 and 1:00, 2:00 and 3:00, and 4:00 to 5:00 pm local time.

In addition to that, trainers can also participate in several Field Research task encounters that will grant extra encounters with Skorupi, Stardust, Ultra Balls, and more for catching themed Pokémon. Players can also purchase an exclusive event bundle containing one Incense from the shop for a PokéCoin.
