Pokémon Go is heating up as 2024 comes to a close with Charged Embers Hatch Day, a special event featuring Elekid and Magby. It is set to take place on December 29th, between 2:00 and 5:00 pm local time. If you’re on the lookout for these classic Pokémon or hoping to hatch their Shiny versions, this event gives you the perfect chance.
Pokémon Go’s Charged Embers Hatch Day only has a three-hour window, so you’ll have to make the most of it. As part of the event, Elekid and Magby will hatch more frequently from 2 km Eggs. Not only that but the odds of hatching a Shiny Elekid or Shiny Magby will be boosted throughout the event. You’ll also earn double Candy for any Eggs that hatch during this time.
To help you hatch more quickly, there’s also an extended bonus starting on Friday, December 27th, at 10:00 a.m. and running until the end of Hatch Day.
