Pokémon Go will see Moltres and Origin Formes join early in August through the Go Pass and Raid Day events

August is looking stacked in Pokémon Go, with big updates lined up ahead of the Cosy Companions and Munchlax Hatch Day events. Two major offerings are set to kick off soon - the Go Pass: August and the Ultra Unlock: Origin Raid Day.
Starting August 5th, the Pokémon Go Pass returns with Moltres in the spotlight, following Articuno’s addition in June. As usual, you’ll collect Go Points to rank up and earn rewards like Stardust, XP, and Poké Balls. The Deluxe version unlocks even more perks, including a Super Incubator, bonus encounters, and premium items like Lure Modules and Battle Passes.
Reach Rank 75 in the Deluxe track and you’ll earn a Lucky Trinket, an item that lets you choose one friend to instantly become a Lucky Friend, even if you haven’t hit Best Friends status. It’s a one-time use and expires September 7th, so plan your trade wisely.
Then on August 10th, the Ultra Unlock: Origin Raid Day brings back Dialga and Palkia in their Origin Formes. Both can appear shiny and come with their signature moves, Roar of Time and Spacial Rend, each unlocking powerful Adventure Effects that pause timers or expand encounter distances for up to 24 hours.

Event bonuses include up to 14 total Raid Passes, increased Rare Candy XL drops, and boosted XP and Stardust from raids.
