Niantic is celebrating the first anniversary of Pikmin Bloom, letting players join in on the festivities as the AR game commemorates this momentous occasion. To thank fans for walking around and filling the world with vibrant flora over the past year, the game is holding tons of special events throughout November.

According to the official press release, "The total distance walked with Pikmin Bloom by all of you who planted flowers in the world with Pikmin while connecting with friends and family over the past year is enough to make three round trips from the earth to the sun and back." This impressive feat is a cause for celebration indeed, and from November 1st to the 14th, players can look forward to the "1st Anniversary Snack” Decor Pikmin Event.

In particular, this event lets players clear tasks to score Gold Seedlings. These will grow into “1st Anniversary Snack” Decor Pikmin for all seven types.

If you're keen on joining in on the festivities, you can download Pikmin Bloom on the iOS App Store and on the Google Play Store for Android devices. It's a free-to-play game with in-app purchases.
