If you shout at Capcom, it MIGHT release a physical version of Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Dual Destinies

What do we want? When do we want it?

If you shout at Capcom, it MIGHT release a physical version of Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Dual Destinies

When it was revealed that Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Dual Destinies, the fifth game in Capcom's courtroom-based point-and-click adventure series, would be a digital-only release, there was a lot of grumbling from Phoenix Wright fans.

And it looks like Capcom might have actually listened to some of that grumbling.

You see, Capcom SVP Christian Svensson has taken the opportunity to comment on a Capcom forum thread and spell out where the company stands right now on a physical version of Dual Destinies.

Put simply, if you shout loudly enough at Capcom, it might just relent on the matter and produce a physical version of the forthcoming game.

"If you'd like to be heard, you can post on this thread (I'll leave it open), PM me on Capcom-Unity or hit up my Twitter (@chrissvensson) as many folks already have. I need some additional ammo and these requests fit that need," Svensson says.

Svensson does state that nothing's guaranteed, mind.

"If things go well and demand is there, in a few weeks I may be able to present an option that puts the ball back in the fans' court (in 'tennis' terms, not 'of law' terms).

"I want to stress the word 'may' so as to not misrepresent the situation or promise anything. We are trying. Again, timing and pricing would be at a disadvantage to the digital option as an assumption you should make."

So, there you go. If you really, really, really want Dual Destinies in game card form, start tweeting Svensson yesterday. People power and all that.
