Phantom Blade: Executioners launches "Serenade of Ruin" Closed Beta Test with new chapter, login bonuses, refundable microtransactions and more

S-GAME has announced another Closed Beta Test for Phantom Blade: Executioners, letting eager fans get inside access to the action-packed "kungfupunk" RPG this month. Titled "Serenade of Ruin", the CBT will run from August 18th to September 16th on iOS, Android and PC and will add a new chapter among other cool new things.

In the "Serenade of Ruin" CBT for Phantom Blade: Executioners, players will be refunded for their microtransactions after the test. Character data will be wiped once the CBT ends, but a 100% gratitude bonus will be rewarded when Open Beta starts.

The game takes players on a journey into a dark world filled with arcane spells and automated machinery. What begins as an investigation into the Sha-Chi Mod turns into something deeper and more sinister, and it's up to the player to unravel the threads of fate in this noir universe.

Players can experience fast-paced battles in stylish 2D as they chain combos and defeat enemies in real-time. They can expect to tinker around with The Chord's career paths as well and enjoy a new story chapter titled "A Failure’s Redemption".

If during the previous closed beta test, we got to meet two playable characters (Soul and Mu Xiaokui), this new chapter introduces a third character. The Chord is the first character with ranged attacks and will prove to be highly versatile thanks to the two advanced career paths available. Rakshasi Bard excels in group control and ranged damage, while Apasara Healer offers crucial support in team battle.

To top it all off, Phantom Blade: Executioners is giving away Epic Phantoms, Golden Sigils and Stamina during the 7-day login bonus, so make sure you tune into the official website to stay updated on all the latest developments.
