Phantom Blade: Executioners is set to release on all major platforms in November

S-Game has just revealed that its upcoming dark fantasy APRG Phantom Blade: Executioners is all set to launch, and the release date is closer than you think. The game has hosted a couple of closed beta tests, the last of which concluded only a week ago. Players on all major platforms including PC, console, and mobile will be able to access the title in just over a month.

In Phantom Blade: Executioners, players join the mysterious Order which has been employed in order to investigate the recent massacres that were a result of someone using the forbidden Sha-Chi body-engineering technique. Players take on the role of one of four heroes, all of whom possess mystical Wuxia skills.

Only those who possess these Wuxia skills and have mastered martial arts will be able to defeat people who have been metamorphosed using the prohibited Sha-Chi engineering techniques. Chain-based combos are the primary way of attacking enemies and players must time them perfectly to get their hits in.

As players progress through the game, they will earn Phantom Bonuses that can be stacked in order to maximise a character’s potential. Combined with valuable loot found after battles, it can increase the hero’s maximum damage and martial arts skills by a significant level. In addition, players can also combine various types of gear or head to the Purge Dungeons, where higher quality Sin Gears are awarded on completion.

This game is just the first of the series. It will be followed by Phantom Blade Zero, which was recently announced during the last PlayStation showcase. Executioner sets the tone for Zero, introducing players to the backstory of the hero Soul, who is the main protagonist of the upcoming game.

Phantom Blade: Executioner releases on November 2nd. Pre-register for the game by clicking on your preferred link below.
