Phantom Blade: Executioners begins Closed Beta Test for the upcoming KungFuPunk ARPG today
S-Game has announced the official launch of its Closed Beta Test for Phantom Blade: Executioners, the upcoming KungFuPunk action RPG on mobile. Beginning January 28th, a few lucky fans will be able to dive into the mysterious dark fantasy world of the game with some limited invitation and other perks.
Phantom Blade: Executioners features lightning-fast hardcore action with a gorgeous blend of oriental-themed visuals and character designs. Filled with elements of Chinese kungfu, the game boasts full-color animation cutscenes and an intriguing story that revolves around a sinister conspiracy. As a member of "The Organization", can you uncover the truths of the new body modification technique plaguing the land?
Soul is the youngest Nether Envoy of the Organization - loyal fans may recognise his story from Rain Blood, which predates Phantom Blade. Mu Xiaokui, on the other hand, is the childhood friend of Soul, and is the daughter of the creator of the Organization. Players will be able to test out these two characters in the CBT, along with fast-paced combat (no auto-battles here) where chaining combos is as satisfying as it is powerful. Players will also be able to augment their blades with Phantoms, which offer useful combat boosts such as healing and enhanced power.
Phantom Blade: Executioners features an optimised control scheme for mobile. While testers' character progress will be wiped after the Closed Beta Test, they'll receive a code for a limited edition in-game costume at launch. More information on how to join the CBT can be found via Phantom Blade: Executioners’ official Twitter and Facebook page.
