Take a look at DSiWare’s Phantasy Star Zero Mini

Naturally our Japanese gaming uncles have had much longer to get the DSi online store baying for their Yen than we have, so it’s only reasonable that it’s out in front when it comes to downloadable games, too.

The latest on the DSi DLC production line is a very cheap Phantasy Star Zero Mini, which, according to Destructoid, weighs in at just $2 (or about £1.40 in real money).

The video below shows a lengthy hands on preview of the game, which runs in full 3D and looks, to be quite honest, pretty comparable to most DS games.

How long it’ll be before something like this finally gets to leave its native shores is anyone’s guess, but it could be just the ticket to get the DSi a bit of western street cred.

Fetch yourself a well earned coffee and check it out.

Yes. Spanner's his real name, and he's already heard that joke you just thought of. Although Spanner's not very good, he's quite fast, and that seems to be enough to keep him in a regular supply of free games and away from the depressing world of real work.
