Free Peggle World of Warcraft mash-up coming to iPhone?

[Update: It's not coming to iPhone, though other updates are.]
Why do I ask? Because, according to the press release that’s just dropped into my inbox, there’s a free WoW Peggle mash-up coming to the web, where the preposterously addictive franchise originated.
For variety, I’m going to do the rest of this post in the style of an Oscars ceremony autocue.
Press release: “This all-new WoW-themed Peggle mash-up is a stand-alone version of Peggle, available for free and combining the sights, sounds and storyline of World of Warcraft with the rainbows and unicorns of everyone’s favorite peg-popping pastime.”
Rob: “Peggle came out on the iPhone earlier this year, earning an impressive Gold Award on Pocket Gamer.”
Press release: “It features ten new levels with Peggle masters Bjorn the Unicorn and Splork with his Space Blast facing off against denizens of Azeroth in scenes with names like ‘Too Soon, Executus’ and ‘The Traitor King’ - as well as ten new challenges with titles such as ‘Phat Lewtz’ and ‘Pwnyxia.’”
Rob: “Though no iPhone version has been announced, PopCap has been active in the App Store, drawing attention recently by changing the price of Peggle to 59p temporarily in order to boost its sales, thus creating the term ‘doing a Peggle’, or ‘peggling’.
“PopCap should be letting us know shortly whether you can expect an iPhone version. As soon as we know, you will too.”
