Path of Titans adds loads of content in new Night Stalker update
Alderon Games has just announced a massive new update for their sandbox MMO, Path of Titans, which is currently in the closed beta state. Titled Night Stalker, this patch will be available for Founder’s Edition owners beginning May 10th. The expansion brings darkness with it, and all the horrors that lurk in it.
As its name suggests, Path of Titans’ Night Stalker update introduces skills like Midnight Hunter that make nighttime encounters much more thrilling. The smaller and medium-sized creatures will see their power levels heightened with over ten new abilities, significantly strengthening combat. For example, The Call of the Night Terrors transforms Latenivenatrix into the apex predator with a boost to stamina recovery and damage.
The update has drawn much inspiration from the African wilderness, especially seen in the watering holes around the map. These places will not be areas of competition thanks to new abilities for the raptors and the threat of aquatic carnivores. Nights in Path of Titans are about to feel much longer.
In terms of numbers, seven species have gotten remodels and animations this year, while nine have received more than ten new abilities. Others have been rebalanced and the total number of creatures in-game is now 30. The Alioramus, Suchomimus, Camptosaurus, and Latenivenatrix are among the few to be upgraded in regard to textures and movements, with more joining the list soon.
Clearly, the update has brought a tonne of enhancements for all the ferocious beasts that are found on the map. That doesn’t mean players themselves get the short end of the stick because numerous improvements have been made to the questing and party system. Players will now be able to stack abilities for their party members as well.
