Path of Titans introduces new dinosaurs and features to beta testers in new Gondwa update
After the launch of Path of Titans’ closed beta a few months ago, Alderon Games just dropped a cracking new trailer narrated by Robert Irwin, which showcases a tonne of new content coming to the survival strategy MMO. This major update will introduce new dinosaurs and a tonne of features and improvements.
Players can expect the Path of Titans dinosaur roster to be updated with new creatures – the pterosaur Thalassodromeus and the plesiosaur Kaiwhekea alongside Pycnonemosaurus and Pachycephalosaurus. With the addition of these beasts, the number of playable dinosaurs has now been upped to a whopping 30, meaning players can truly be who they want to be in this sandbox survivor.
Kaiwhekea is Path of Titans’ first fully aquatic dinosaur, allowing players to dive through all the undersea canyons of this massive Mediterranean archipelago. On the other hand, Thalassodromeus is the first flyer and will be found soaring high in the skies. Both of them expand the game’s verticality as players will be able to enjoy the coral reefs and ocean cliffs, while also catching thermal updrafts and flying high.
To give both these dinosaurs sufficient areas to explore, the update also introduces new underwater home caves and quests, NPCs, and roosts and cliffs to land on. The aquatic environment has been mainly focussed on, as players will be able to interact with a lot of oceans’ inhabitants.
Other improvements include a better replay system to with higher stability and new features to make the community more active. The entire Waystone and transport system has been simplified as well. All of this has been done to ensure that no one exploits these mechanics and escapes an active battle without any consequences.
