Facebook, web, and iPhone MMO Outer Empires expanding to Android and XBLA
The universe is growing
Outer Empires is an interesting game. The closest thing the iPhone has to EVE Online, it’s a vast MMO set in space that you can play interchangeably on Facebook, iPhone, and the internet. Though the iPhone version is affected by some glitches, it’s got a lot of promise.
Pocket Gamer spoke with Paul Hutson of developer Iron Will Studios a couple of days ago and picked up an interesting morsel of information: Iron Will has plans to bring Outer Empires to Android, bringing the number of platforms it’s available on to four.
Did I say four? I meant five, because there’s also an XBLA version in the works, or at least on the drawing board from which ideas leap into the works. Watch this space.
