Switzerland-based studio Furinkazan has announced its successful pre-seed funding round for the upcoming game Opticale, adding an important milestone to the development phase of the game.

In case you're not familiar with the title, Opticale takes players on an epic journey across the enchanting parallel land of the Astral World, where they can encounter a wide variety of mystical creatures from various myths and legends. All these will be presented via augmented reality, and players can stumble upon undiscovered mysteries through geolocation.

"Our ambitious plans include the creation of new narrative experiences across various media platforms, such as comic books, animations, and virtual reality experiences. The primary goal is to establish synergies between these different projects while continuing the development of the Astral World and its creatures. To achieve this, we will be hiring key personnel to help drive this new growth phase," says Soufian Mahlouly, CEO and Founder of Furinkazan.
