Credits are Omega Strikers’ primary source of currency, and they can be used for purchasing new characters, emotes, and Trainings. These coins are essentially how you’ll unlock everything central to the game, excluding the obvious like cosmetics, as those require the premium currency instead. You'll learn a few quick ways to earn credits in Omega Strikers as well as a few ways to spend them.

How do I earn credits?

There’s an assortment of ways to do this. The primary way you’ll achieve more credits, and the one that will carry you through most of your Omega Strikers career, is simply by playing. If you lose a match, you’ll get only 200, but if you win, you’ll get 400 credits. If you manage to really top the charts and get MVP, I believe you’ll receive 600 credits for that match. Given how fast matches go, they stack up quickly and don’t require much grinding.

The secondary way to get your credits is to complete missions. When you first launch the game, there will be a rookie mission list that is pretty easy to check off and will give you a ton of credits to spend. Pretty much all they require is visiting certain parts of the main menu and playing a few matches, so knock those out first. Beyond that, there will then be daily and weekly missions you will unlock that hand out credits as well.

What should I spend my credits on?

This one has a straightforward answer: Training and new Strikers. Trainings are vital as they’ll allow you to build out your favorite Strikers, so I’d purchase all of those in the store first before you dig for the new Strikers. Most of the roster is currently only 10,000 credits, which is pretty easy to achieve. But new characters such as Asher are worth 25,000, so you’ll want to save up pretty quick.

While it’s unknown if this pricing model will continue with the new characters on the horizon, it’s a decently safe bet since Asher was in that price range. But regardless, it’s pretty easy to grind out this currency by just playing the game.

Plus, if you manage to queue up with your friends and really perform super well, you’ll get lots of MVP awards, and those reward you with a ton of Credits - so be sure you’re giving it your all out there and winning those matches if you really want to stockpile the currency.

Omega Strikers is super free-to-play friendly and hasn’t asked much of your real-world money unless you want to unlock the battle pass, which is just fun cosmetic stuff right now. As the seasons progress, it’s possible we’ll start seeing each battle pass offer up a large sum of credits as milestone rewards, but for now, that hasn’t happened, so these are the most efficient methods of gaining Credits.

And that’s all your questions about Credits in Omega Strikers answered! It’s a pretty straightforward process that really boils down to just playing the game to unlock everything you need. No real money purchasing here - just simple old-fashioned gaming!
