Obey Me! Nightbringer officially launches after being announced only a week ago

After being announced only about a week ago, the quasi-sequel to the hit otome game Obey Me!!, Obey Me! Nightbringer, has officially launched. This new narrative-focused rhythm game introduces a few new spins of the mechanics already found within its predecessor along with a hefty mix of never-before-seen gameplay systems that are sure to entice any fan of this series.

After the original Obey Me!! blew away most of the competition within the otome space utilising excellent art, character designs, and some enticing story elements, players have been eager to see what the next step for the series will be. And now, with Nightbringer, fans of the first game are sure to be impressed with just how much has been improved from before.

The biggest change here is that, instead of the game playing like those traditional otome games with some interesting real-world mechanics like phone calls and text messages here and there, Nightbringer is a lot more focused on the rhythm game side of things now.

The story and interactions with each of the hot demon boys are still front-and-centre of course - but now, in between those story sections where the plot is discussed in-depth, you’ll be taking part in rhythm game stages where you get to watch your favourite demon boys perform their hearts out as you tap notes that appear on the screen. Think something like Hatsune Miku: Colorful Stage and you’re not too far off.

But what is by far the biggest selling point of Nightbringer is the new push to make every choice you make in conversations during those story bits truly matter. As you decide what to say and how to respond during said conversations, the story will change and morph to fit the consequences of those words, adding a lot of replayability to this new spin on Obey Me!!

So, whether you're a fan of the original game or someone who just wants to see what all the fuss is about, Nightbringer might be the game for you. Why not give it a spin at either of the links below this article for free?
