Ni no Kuni, the beautiful DS and PS3 RPG from creative partners Level 5 (games like Professor Layton and Dragon Quest 8) and Studio Ghibli (movies like Howl’s Moving Castle and Ponyo), has received a couple of adverts in Japan.

Bizarrely, the duo has decided to barely show off the game’s anime inspired graphics, with only one of the adverts featuring visuals at all.

Andriasang has the translations. The first TV spot says “This winter's ultimate fantasy, from a dream staff”. The second mentions that this is the first game to come with a book of magic, and the game has been doing gang-busters on the preorder charts, so quit dilly-dallying and reserve this game now.

The DS game hits Japan later this year. No word on an English translation yet.
