Zoo Tycoon maker announces new title for DS

THQ has announced it will be publishing a brand new title on DS (as well as Wii and PC) from Blue Fang Games sometime in 2009/2010. Which gives you quite a bit of time to save up for it.

Blue Fang Games is currently renowned for its Zoo Tycoon series – multiple incarnations of which have been released on both PC and DS. No details have been released on its new venture, but it seems likely it'll follow a similar concept, which THQ will no doubt be hoping does as well as Zoo Tycoon (the franchise has to date sold over seven million copies worldwide).

In a statement, president of Blue Fang Hank Howie said: "We've had a very successful experience working with THQ on the DS versions of Zoo Tycoon, and we look forward to releasing the first details of our new game together with THQ later this year."
