Both the European and US Nintendo 3DS eShops have some interesting new stock on their virtual shelves this week, ranging from queueing Japanese style to our first look at the next in the Fire Emblem series.

In other words, there's something worth grabbing wherever you're based in the world.

Just as long as you have a 3DS to hand, of course.

So, here are the new 3DS downloadables you can expect to find in Ninty's online stores this week.

European eShop releases

Tokyo Crash Mobs is a bit of a weird one. Well, I say 'a bit' - what I actually mean is: 'Oh, my goodness, what is going on here? I don't even know where to begi-.'

It's a match-three game about queue-jumping, you see, and it's incredibly Japanese. Give our review of Tokyo Crash Mobs a read, then consider dropping £5.39 for it.

Mahjong Mysteries - Ancient Athena is all about, well, mahjong. You know, that classic Chinese tile-stacking game. £4.49, if you're interested.

And if you're into your basketball, retail game NBA 2K13 is now available as a download. It'll cost you a ridiculous £49.99, though, so, errr, give it some serious thought, yeah.

US eShop releases

Over in the US eShop, there's some Tokyo Crash Mobs. Yep, same as above. So, yep, click on the link above to read our review of it. It'll cost you $5.99, if you're so inclined.

US 3DS punters can look forward to a great Virtual Console game this week, too. You don't need me to tell you how wonderful Kirby's Star Stacker is; just read our review. Oh, and it costs $2.99. Which makes it an absolute steal.

Here's the potentially big one, though...

There's now a demo available for Fire Emblem: Awakening on the eShop. The full game is out on February 4th in the US (April 2013 in Europe), so you might as well get prepared for it.

Elsewhere, there's a couple of retail games that are now available as downloads.

Disney/Pixar Finding Nemo: Escape to the Big Blue doesn't sound particularly exciting, while Deer Drive Legends - a hunting game - also looks pretty grim.

That's your lot for this week. See you again next week, folks!
