Things we can't have: PSP2, a fancy Square bundle, Throbbing Minesweeper, and a job with Nvidia
The Pocket Gamer blog roundup

Sony was quick to stress that pics of a PSP2 that circulated on the internet this week were, erm, not pics of a PSP2. Rather they were pics of a fanboy's PSP fantasy sequel. Well, we can all dream. Especially if we're dumb enough to believe everything we read on the internet.
Perhaps this Nvidia job advert IS looking for PSP2 related specialists. After all, an update of the console by 2010 isn't a possibility, it's likely. But don't hold onto your handsets. Why on Earth would Sony have a PSP2 so close to production when it's only just rolling out phase 2 of the original plan – the downloadable PSOne games, now into the second tranche, at least outside of the UK?
It wouldn't. Still, why no demos?
If you're a grumpy European PSP diehard, don't worry – European Nintendo fans don't have it all their own way either. DS fans in Japan are being offered a final Final Fantasy DS bundle and a Phoenix Wright special bundle, while we can only liaise with eBay go-betweens. Even mobile owners can only hold their breath and hope Throbbing Minesweeper gets to the UK.
It's enough to make you think Pokemon Purple emulator on a calculator adds up to a sensible idea. Oh well. Cheer yourself up with some videos of a robot playing PSP, Wario: Master of Disguise, a modder playing Wii using his DS as a screen (why?), and even an iPod hosting Doom via an NES controller. Adios!
