Special bundled DS now less special
Crimson/Onyx DS goes solo in US
Okay, it's not quite as big an announcement as a completely new colour of DS. (We're thinking yellow or green might be nice…)
Still, Nintendo of America has announced the exclusive two-tone Crimson/Onyx (that's basically red and black) DS previously only available bundled with More Brain Training from Dr Kawashima: How Old Is Your Brain? will now be sold individually.
The flamboyant coloured console will retail at $129.99, which is the same price as the handheld's white, black and pink versions in the US.
There's no news that the Crimson/Onyx DS will be released in the UK in the future – so for the time-being we'll have to make do with the imminent silver console, which is hitting our shops on October 12th.
