Sony whips the covers off a new look PlayStation Store

The PSP one gets a makeover too

Head over to the PlayStation Store for PC today and you'll notice it's looking a bit different from normal. That's because Sony has seen fit to give it a fresh lick of paint to coincide with the PS3 Store's makeover.

The changes are more cosmetic than the PS3 Store's redesign. Basically, there are some new colours, a new menu for selecting your country and a red icon now appears on items you've already purchased.

With Sony releasing a whole stack of bonus PS3 content to the PS3 Store to coincide with its redesign, we're just hoping a similar gesture will be made to PSP owners. This week we're going to be watching that Store more keenly than David Attenborough watches a pair of mating lizards - and hoping some demos turn up as a result.
