Nominate YOUR Game of the Year for the Pocket Gamer People's Choice Award 2023

Think back to the mobile game that stood out for you the most last year. You know, the ludicrously addictive title you often snuck a go on during those interminable Zoom meetings; the coding gloriousness that stole too many hours of your otherwise exemplary sleep schedule; that irresistible digital minx that nearly derailed your marriage. 

Yes, that one.

Now imagine you're part of the team responsible for that very game. You've spent countless hours perfecting the play mechanics, extracted every performance trick out of Unity (other game engines are available), and composed the most heart-wrenching score to accompany those class-leading graphics. You're driven by passion – and, sure, the need to pay your mortgage – but also the hope your creation will resonate, deeply, with its players. That your efforts and sacrifices will be rewarded someday rather than disassembled by the gravitational pull of the nearest app store.

This is where the PG People's Choice Award comes in. Because it's built entirely around the concept of rewarding the finest mobile gaming experience of the previous 12 months. It's all part of the PG Mobile Games Awards (run by our industry-focused sibling site, PocketGamer.biz).

We need you

We're asking you to nominate your top gaming experience of 2022.

Whatever stood out for you, we'd love you to share it with us so that game – and the team behind it – gets a chance to have its greatness showcased.

You can do this by filling in this simple form before midnight on March 3rd.

We'll then collate all the entries, work out the finalists, and present these for you to vote on. Once that's done, the winner will get announced during the PG Mobile Games Awards on April 20th. As the only award nominated for and voted on by the players, it's always a hotly contested affair and one of the ceremony's highlights.

Before you rush off, some quickfire rules:

• Eligible games must have received a full launch between January 1st and December 31st 2022
• You can nominate more than once (if you have multiple 'game of the year' picks)
• Eligible games must have been available on iOS or Android platforms
• The closing date for nominations is Friday, March 3rd, 2023
