PlayStation Vita Japanese pricing revealed
Square Enix marks launch titles down as ¥4,980
With the launch of the PlayStation Vita fast approaching in Japan, publisher Square Enix has revealed pricing for its own launch titles, giving us an idea about how much games for the handheld will cost.
The company confirmed via its Twitter account (as translated by Andriasang) that its Vita games will be ¥4,980 for the packaged version, and ¥3,990 for the download version.
That's £41.69 for the packaged version, and £33.40 for the download - of course, these aren't an indication of what the UK prices will be.
These Vita prices are relatively competitive in the context of Japan, which is great news for Japanese consumers.
Hopefully Sony's pricing policy will be equally competitive in the west.
