Playstation Emulator launches on Android Market
|

ZodTTD and yongzh have released a PlayStation emulator onto the Android Market called PSX4Droid, the same emulator we reported on back in June.

An example video posted of the emulator in action shows Need for Speed: High Stakes running fairly well on a Droid X, before slowing right down when more than one car appears on screen, disappointingly.

Given recent tests of the Galaxy S’s 3D capabilities, though, it’d be interesting to see how Samsung’s top of the range handset copes with the graphics of the PSX as opposed to a Droid or Desire.

The app is compatible with the WiiMote controller, as well as the on-screen PSX styled virtual control pad, and requires a certain amount of files that are dubiously legal and actually illegal to run the games in the first place.

PSX4Droid is available on the Android Market now for $5.99.
