Play your Wii U on the motorway with the MaxPlay travel adaptor
Wii U-turn
Here at Pocket Gamer Towers, it is our solemn duty to deliver all the latest and most exciting news from the world of mobile gaming to you. Personally.
Because of this, we feel obligated to report that Nintendo's Wii U has been re-imagined as a portable console.
Well, sort of.
You see, peripherals manufacturer MaxBuy has knocked together an adaptor that enables Wii U owners to take their beloved console out on the road with them.

The MaxPlay adaptor is powered by your car's 12V cigarette lighter port, and connects to (and powers) both your Wii U console and the Wii U GamePad.
Then, using the Wii U's spiffy Off-TV Play feature, you can boot up compatible games and get some quality gaming in while you're being chauffeured around.
At present, we don't know how much the MaxPlay adaptor will cost. However, you can see the device up and running in the proof-of-concept trailer above.
