Now you see them, now you don't
The next eight days in handheld games

The thing about mirages is that they look pretty convincing. Similar to handheld release schedules, in fact. You think you know what you're headed towards, and you only realise you don't when it's too late.
Thing is, like a lab rat we learn things pretty quickly here at Pocket Gamer. And we've been caught out enough times to know when something is looking more than a little watery.
Take next week's trio of PSP releases – fishy, every single one. We wouldn't waste sending a neural impulse to a brow muscle to disturb our perfect facial features if, like this week's supposed apparition of Burnout Dominator and March of the Penguins (now postponed to April 27th and April 20th on PSP and DS, respectively), none of the threesome show up.
Those are the unsettled times we live in. Still, for a handful of weeks this year things appeared more solid than they've been for many months. Perhaps that will offer some comfort as the number of releases continue to dry up before the inevitable pre-summer holidays flood of titles.
