This week's DSiWare releases are an interesting bunch, allowing you to fight extinct creatures and battle a deadly threat in your own living room.
Combat of Giants: Dinosaurs - Fight For Survival is the third in the Ubisoft Combat of Giants series.
Placing you in the role of a prehistoric beast, the game takes you through hostile lands, battling other dinosaurs to secure your species' survival. This one's possibly a little too expensive for our tastes at the premium price of 800 DSi Points.
Namco's classic Mr Driller lands on DSiWare this week in the form of Drill Till You Drop.
Featuring the usual drilling action we've come to know and love, the game comes with three game modes (including the DSi exclusive Dristone mode) and over 40 levels. All this pneumatic gameplay can be yours for 500 DSi Points.
Mere Mortals continues its Pocket Pack mini-games series with Pocket Pack Words & Numbers, a collection of popular word and number games.
The package includes the likes of Anagrams, Sudoku, Kakuro, Word Cubes and Word Guess. It appears to be a pretty nice selection, great for long train journeys. Words & Numbers is available for 500 DSi Points.
Finally, System Flaw: Recruit utilises the DSi camera to bring your front room into the gameworld.
Displaying your surroundings on the screen, an enemy called "The Flaw" will come out from behind your sofa or through your window, and you'll want to send them packing. 500 DSi Points will bag you this from the DSiWare store.
