Nintendo President and CEO Satoru Iwata has hinted at the possibility of further StreetPass games being built-in to the 3DS's hardware.

At a recent shareholder meeting, Iwata noted that many of the Nintendo staff had already completed the built-in games on offer, and also that Mario creator Shigeru Miyamoto has been pestering several employees for a follow-up.

"I cannot say when or what we can deliver, but we would like to change the minds of the people who are temporarily thinking, 'I cannot see the point in carrying my Nintendo 3DS with me,'" he said.

"I'd like to make them think 'I want to carry it around with me again.' I believe we can proceed in a way that answers your request."

Shortly after Nintendo's 3D gizmo was released, Pocket Gamer Towers partook in a little friendly competition to see how many StreetPasses each member of the team could muster.

After that, each member embarked on a fantasy adventure in StreetPass Quest, grabbing hats and casting magic. It's a miracle that we actually get any work done.

Anyhow, Nintendo's StreetPass feature and its accompanying games have given the Pocket Gamer office numerous hours of joy, competition, and exercise, so more would definitely be welcome.
