Mobigame submits 18-wheeler girl-chasing funny title to Apple

Mobigame, most famous for the unfortunate controversy surrounding its Edge/Edgy game, has submitted a new game to Apple, and announced the fact via Twitter.

The tweet read “Sent a new game to Apple review team today”.

Mobigame didn't release any more details, although a follow up tweet promised that it will “be one of the funniest iPhone games ever”.

Touch Arcade subsequently got in touch with David Papazian, founder and CEO, who replied with the pitch:

"As Jack the lone truck driver, take control of an 18-wheeler as you dash through American landscapes in true Russ Mayer fashion.

"The game puts you in very hot pursuit of Alpha Chick, a blonde bombshell in a red [corvette]. Honk the horn, dodge vehicles, get bonuses and race for the ultimate [prize]: the girl.

"The cartoon animations, the sounds, tunes, and the general atmosphere of this game make it one of the funniest [games] on the iPhone."

Considering the tumultuous journey Mobigame has endured with Edge, we can’t help but feel a tinge of disappointment that the title isn’t about the ongoing legal battle in some way. Phoenix Wright: Hammer’s Edge, anyone..?

Papazian also divulged that the studio is working on a second game as well, which he describes as a “very ambitious 3D game”.
